TOP 09 chairman Karel Schwarzenberg paid tribute on Friday to Prague Olšany Cemetery memory of Jan Palach. Above his grave said he was ashamed of it, to which state in the Czech Republic got freedom.

“I must say that when I look at what we have done with that freedom, so ashamed when I’m standing here. I really feel ashamed, and everyone should now think about the sacrifice he brought and how we act today to freedom, “he said.
Student Jan Palach in protest against the former regime, immolating January 16, 1969, three days later succumbed to his injuries.
