Threat of Illegal Extraditions!

The purpose of the project is to carry out monitoring of detention places and prisons, and assess legal remedies available in those institutions. The project activities also include legal counselling, litigation, representation at the courts, analysis of the relevant legislation and court decisions, as well as its impact on the target groups. Awareness raising and lobbying through reporting, publications, press conferences and work with mass media is also a part of this project. The project is supported by the Open Society Institute and its proposed duration is 3 years (2003 - 2005).
