Council of Europe criticizes Czech Republic for unmatured overtime at work or short notice periods

European Committee of Social Rights of the Council of Europe warns that the Czech Republic violates the European Social Charter, while in the Czech legislation is not sufficiently limited overtime or for them is not guaranteed compensation. Other shortcomings by the Committee concerning short periods of notice, severance pay, or low difficulty convene a strike in an unsuccessful collective bargaining. Criticism is not new, voiced similar already in 2010. According to the Social Committee, however, since in the Czech Republic, the situation has not changed.
