MLSA main priority is to reduce significantly the number of children taken from families

The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs objected to the information they have in recent days appeared in some media and on social networks. According to them, the MLSA collaborates with Norwegian social services, leading to the mass removal of children from families that are displeasing officials. MLSA therefore presents this information to debunk.

Czech Republic is already more than 10 years, criticized by domestic and foreign organizations dealing with children’s rights, to be fragmented child protection system, which ultimately leads to increasingly persistent high numbers of children in institutional care.

According to the National Strategy for Protection of Children’s Rights is therefore the task of the MLSA develop overarching law on supporting vulnerable families. Content should be comprehensive legislation protecting the rights of children, family support, and optimization of the financing and management of care for vulnerable children.
